El Toro! Megan picked him up in Mexico and for now he stands on our coffee table until we can find a better home for him. I realize the cool perspective doesn't offer a size reference, so I'll tell you he stands 4 inches tall at the shoulder and is 8 inches long from the tip of his horns to the end of his tail. I'm not sure if he's marble or just granite, but he's heavy. Like a bull.

Weird weather this morning. First it was bright and sunny, then out of nowhere a dark cloud rolled over and pelted Victoria and Saanich with pea-sized hail stones! Here's one that bounced off the rail and landed on my balcony...
For about 15-20 minutes it was coming down pretty hard, but notice it was still very bright out. I believe the phrase for that is "liquid sunshine", or in this case "sunny with ice pellets"...

I suppose you the viewer can see what you want to see in the ice crystals, but I see two tall snow covered trees and a little guy on snow shoes coming down the trail between them. What do you see?

More small parts. The primed propeller shafts get their first coat of Hull Red (which looks orange in this photo, but trust me it's a nice rusty red). Look close and you can also see the edges of the bronze propellers (or screws) at the top edge of the photo...
