I normally don't read novels of this genre, but I've been seeing it on the shelves for a while and was curious. Some people have suggested it to me, and now there's even a movie, so I thought I'd finally give it a try. Of course I'm going to finish the book before seeing the movie.

Ninety eight pages in, and I actually like it so far. Even if I'm not all that familiar with some of the legal dialogue, I still get the plot and the characters. What's really funny is that one of the people who recommended the book said it made it "easier to read if you imagine the lead character as Matthew McConaughey". It does help...

I got an early Christmas gift for myself and Megan today...

The box is really shiny, so it was tough to get a good photo without a glare or too much of my own reflection. You can sort of see me in Stewie Vader's helmet.

I can't wait until Megan gets home from work so we can watch all 3 parts back-to-back-to-back. The 3rd part, "It's A Trap!", was just released today so we haven't seen it yet! I really like that the producers packaged the trilogy like this. We held off on buying the first 2 chapters individually because we had a feeling they'd do this, just like the original Star Wars Trilogy (parts IV to VI).

Side note: After today's post I have 100 left to go! I guess the Force is strong in this one!

I saw my first 3D movie lst night...

The movie was good! I don't have anything bad to say about it! I thought the 3D effects were cool, but I'm not sure I'd want to see every movie in 3D.

There's nothing on TV tonight, so it's a movie night...
